The private room had a poorly soundproofed bathroom. Limited diningroom space during busy times. Cooked food and bar available.

I had a great stay at Morag's Lodge in Fort Augustus! The room I stayed in had an ensuite bathroom, which was really convenient. The communication with the staff was excellent, especially since I arrived late at night. They were very informative and helpful during the check-in process. I also appreciated that they provided breakfast to-go, as I wanted to start my day early. The small bar and available parking spots were a nice bonus as well.

We loved this place! It was in a great location, close to everything in town. The room was very comfortable, with heating and a carpeted floor. The dining bar/lounge area was a nice touch and we enjoyed packed lunches there. The staff went above and beyond, staying late to chat with us and provide superb service. The leisure garden area and entertainment were great too. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi and on-site car park, as well as the laundry facilities and locker room. we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!
We can't think of any negatives about this venue. It was a great stay and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting this town.

I was really impressed with Morag's Lodge in Fort Augustus. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. When we arrived early and soaking wet from a bike ride in the rain, they kindly took our wet gear and helmets and dried them for us. The location was great, just a short walk into the village with its lovely gardens. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, and we even had a great view of Loch Ness from the viewpoint nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and had a powerful shower in the large bathroom. The homemade meals offered at a small fee were a lifesaver, especially since all the local restaurants were fully booked. I highly recommend Morag's Lodge for a pleasant and value-for-money stay in Fort Augustus.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel's location was great, near a river in woodland with easy walking into the town centre. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. The breakfast was delicious and affordable. The shared areas were cozy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a drying room available for wet gear after a rainy day, and towels were provided. We also loved the nearby shop with very good bread.
The blinds in our room weren't blackout blinds, and the morning light woke us up early.

The buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day and we could easily go back for seconds. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay a comfortable one. the free shampoo and soap in the bathroom was a nice touch. We also appreciated the central location that allowed us to easily explore the city.
The Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby, which was a bit inconvenient. we had to bring our own towels which we were not used to.
